“Any person who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organisation, or directly or indirectly…is liable to be imprisoned for 10 years”

“Recently, Buturo said that once the two bills are passed into law, it will be an offence to publish and distribute literature on homosexuality.
He also said it would become impossible for homosexuals to address press conferences and attract people to support their cause. ”
Please take note that the above law in Uganda would sentence homosexuals to death, make it an offense to not report a known homosexual to the authorities in 24 hours and to even rent a home to a homosexual
Some details of the bill:
“Landlords who rent rooms or homes to homosexuals also could get seven years and anyone with “religious, political, economic or social authority” who fails to report anyone violating the act faces three years.”
“Proposed legislation would impose the death penalty for some gay Ugandans, and their family and friends could face up to seven years in jail if they fail to report them to authorities. “
“The measure was proposed in Uganda following a visit by leaders of U.S. conservative Christian ministries that promote therapy for gays to become heterosexual.”
